We are looking for an energetic, motivated IT Sales and Business Development Consultant with at least 2 years’ experience to work remotely but also needs to come to the corporate office in Newark, DE as requested by the CEO. Geographic focus will be primarily in Delaware, Maryland, Philadelphia and South New Jersey. Primary service is IT Consulting and Outsourcing. Consultant will be responsible in leading efforts to acquire new business through direct individual prospecting and sales activities; cold calls, emails, networking, events, etc. We offer a competitive salary with commission or commission only.
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
Minimum of at least 5 years overall sales experience with at least 1-2 years' IT sales experience
Strong general knowledge of IT trends and operations. Should be able to explain how an IT department is organized, major challenges IT organizations are facing and strong awareness of the competitive environment within the IT services industry.
Ability to prospect and develop pipeline – must be comfortable generating qualified sales opportunities
Strong Knowledge of MS Office tools and as well as a strong understanding of CRM products.
